Biography
Léa, born in 1995 in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, took her first steps in contemporary dance at the age of 6. Later, she discovered other styles through various workshops and training, taking classical dance classes for four years.
Fascinated by movement and creation, Léa trained intensively in Freiburg im Breisgau at the "Bewegungs-art Schule" in dance, improvisation and performance. Here she developed a great interest in "Instant Composition". Afterwards she continued her education in Berlin, before starting a master's degree at the University of Bern in dance science. Today, she continues to attend numerous workshops in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.
Since 2020, she works as a dancer with several Swiss artists and companies. She participates in the project "Codanse FRI-20" with the company "DA MOTUS! She also creates the project "Original. Replicate." with the musician David Bourquenoud. In September 2021, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Museum Tinguely, she participates in the project H.2.N.Y. directed by Michael Landy (GB) and Tabea Martin (CH), at the Kaserne in Basel. From December 2021 to April 2022, she works for the Karwan company in Zug (CH).
Experiences in teaching dance have allowed her to discover another facet of this art. Teaching in Freiburg-im-Breisgau, in association "Lebenshilfe", with children with physical and learning disabilities. Having obtained her Bachelor of Art in Pre-primary and Primary Education in 2019, she uses her qualifications and skills as a primary school teacher to share her passion using the pedagogical, ethical and didactic philosophies acquired during her studies.

Léa, née en 1995 dans le canton de Fribourg, fait ses premiers pas dans la danse contemporaine à l’âge de 6 ans. Plus tard, c’est d’autres styles qu’elle découvre à travers plusieurs workshops. Durant 4 ans, elle suit également des cours de danse classique. Fascinée par le mouvement et la création, Léa se forme intensivement à Fribourg-en-Brisgau à la « Bewegungs-art Schule » en danse, improvisation et performance. Ici, elle développe un grand intérêt pour les «Instant Composition ». Ensuite, c’est à Berlin qu’elle continue à se former, avant de commencer un master à l’université de Berne en science de la danse. Aujourd’hui, elle continue de suivre de nombreux Workshops en Autriche, en Belgique, en Allemagne et en Suisse.
Depuis 2020, elle travaille en tant que danseuse avec plusieurs artistes et compagnies Suisses. Elle participe au projet "Codanse FRI-20" avec la compagnie "DA MOTUS!". Des expériences dans l’enseignement de la danse lui ont permis de découvrir une autre facette de cet art. Comme l’enseignement à Fribourg-en-Brisgau, dans l’association « Lebenshilfe », avec des enfants en situation d’handicap. Ayant obtenu son Bachelor of Art in Preprimary and Primary Education en 2019, elle utilise sa posture et ses compétences d'enseignante primaire afin de partager sa passion, avec les clés pédagogiques, éthiques et didactiques acquises durant ses études.
